Alabama Senate candidate Roy Moore has now been accused by five women who say he sexually harassed or assaulted them when they were teenagers. Moore has denied the allegations, but Republicans are scurrying to distance themselves from him.

On Monday’s Late Show, Stephen Colbert reacted to the allegations and Moore’s own pitiful defense.

Moore has been accused of sexual contact with a 14-year-old when he was an assistant district attorney, “which would be appropriate only if he were a 14-year-old assistant district attorney. Kind of like a Douchey Howser.”

Moore went on Sean Hannity’s radio show to defend himself against allegations he says are not true. When asked if he used to date teenage girls when he was over 30, Moore said, “Not generally, no.” Colbert added, “But specifically, you bet!”

He then said that he only dated women if their moms gave permission. “How did you just make this creepier?” asked Colbert. Watch the clip below for more.
