Michael Che fires off on Trump’s latest ’emotional breakdowns’ on Twitter

On this week’s Saturday Night Live, Michael Che and Colin Jost used Weekend Update to tear into Trump and Paul Manafort after Robert Mueller indicted the president’s former campaign manager on Monday.

When the news hit that Mueller had indicted Manafort, Trump ranted on Twitter, and Michael Che didn’t have to read the tweets to know that they mentioned “fake news” and “crooked Hillary.”

“Look, I have got to be honest, I didn’t even read all of his tweets. I’m tired of watching the President of the United States having emotional breakdowns on social media like he’s Tyrese. It’s embarrassing,” Che said.

“If you want to live-tweet Morning Joe or Cupcake Wars or whatever else you watch, fine. But indictments are important. And you work for us. Put on your baggy suit, your clip on tie, and fold your hair up nice and answer all of our questions face to face like the public servant that you are. Okay?”

Watch Weekend Update below for an appearance by Mikey Day and Alex Moffat as Don Jr. and Eric Trump.
