Paul Manafort’s indictment Monday was the big story of the week, so naturally Saturday Night Live opened the show with a comment on the former Trump adviser’s downfall.

Alec Baldwin appeared as President Trump on this week’s SNL to give Paul Manafort a hard time about his recent indictment.

“God, you’re screwed,” he said to Alex Moffat’s Manafort. “It’s a shame you’re going to prison, I was going to give you a huge tax break.”

Baldwin also threw in a crack at sexual assaulter Harvey Weinstein. “What an idiot that Harvey Weinstein is,” Baldwin’s Trump said. “He could have gotten away with it all that if he’d gotten himself elected as president.”

The real President Trump is on a trip around Asia this week, but in the sketch, Baldwin’s Trump just sent a body double to accompany Melania on the trip. Cecily Strong’s Melania seemed perfectly content with this new version of her husband. “Who knew that just by keeping your mouth shut you could seem so presidential?”
