SNL’s Kate McKinnon is a killer Kellyanne Conway in ‘IT’ parody

It's scary cause It's true.

Kellyanne Conway is one of Kate McKinnon’s best ‘SNL’ impressions, and one of the reasons she won back-to-back Emmy’s. What makes her Kellyanne sketches so entertaining is that they aren’t just a rehash of something she said on the news that week. Instead, McKinnon’s Conway appears in a creative parody, like last year’s Chicago musical number or Fatal Attraction sketch.

On this week’s Saturday Night Live, McKinnon’s Conway showed up in a drain as a killer clown seeking time on CNN.

The sketch begins with Alex Moffat as Anderson Cooper wondering if he is desperate enough to book Conway again. He then drops a newspaper down a sewer drain in a recreation of the opening scene from the new IT.

Then Kellywise appears from the shadows. “Put me on TV,” she implores, promising Cooper that she will bring crazy, crazy quotes to the segment, like, “Puerto Rico actually was worse before Hurricane Maria and the hurricane actually did blow some buildings back together and I don’t know why Elizabeth Warren won’t tweet about that.”

Kellyanne tries to get in Anderson’s head by turning into Hillary Clinton. “It’s me, I’m down in the sewer,” Clinton says. “Where did you think I’d be? Michigan or Wisconsin?”

Watch the clip below for more. But be warned—It’s terrifying.
