James Corden reacts to Trump’s ‘Rocket Man’ speech to United Nations

On Tuesday’s Late Late Show, James Corden mocked President Trump over his speech to the United Nations in which he referred to North Korean leader Kim Jong-Un as “Rocket Man.”

President Trump addressed the United Nations for the first time on Tuesday, addressing the assembly of countries as “future Trump hotel locations,” joked Corden. In his speech, “or as Trump calls it, an in-person tweet talk,” the president threatened North Korea yet again.

Trump said he would totally destroy North Korea, which as Corden pointed out, could only mean one thing. “He’s going to run for president of North Korea.”

The president called Trump “Rocket Man” in his speech, so Corden pointed out, “You can’t call someone Rocket Man in the same speech you’re threatening to launch rockets. That makes you both Rocket Men. You’re all Rocket Men!” Watch the clip below for more of Corden’s monologue.
