On Wednesday’s Late Late Show, James Corden opened his show with a musical number blasting President Trump for his decision to ban transgender people from military service.
Trump tweeted Wednesday morning that he and his generals had agreed that trans people should not be allowed to serve, saying that the military could not afford to treat them.
With a parody of Nat King Cole’s 1964 hit “L-O-V-E,” Corden sang “L-G-B-T” to blast Trump for the surprise announcement.
“L – He doesn’t care for Lesbians.
G – He thinks two men should just be friends,
B – To his dumb knowledge is just a phase in college,
T – He finds confusing so the army is now refusing
Trans women who only want to serve,
Trans men who want rights we all deserve.”
