Bill Clinton Finally Donates Boxes of Unused Inauguration T-Shirts

WASHINGTON — Admitting that he acted too soon in ordering dozens of custom-made inauguration t-shirts, Bill Clinton was seen donating boxes full of the vanity shirts at a Goodwill donation box over the weekend.

“I was very excited to be the first husband of a female president,” the former president said, “but I think I got ahead of myself with my zazzle.com account. Hillary wasn’t too pleased when these showed up on our doorstep in late December.”

Clinton hired a comedy writer to brainstorm possible slogans for his new role as First Gentleman of the United States. “He definitely took to ‘First Ladies’ Man,’” said former Big Bang Theory writer Justin Javerbaum, “but we also had a few other mock-ups prepared, like one where we spelled ‘FGOTUS’ on a Fugazi album cover. Other options included ‘First Gentleman, Second Base,’ and my personal favorite, ‘I’m with Her, and Her, and Her.’”
