Stephen Colbert congratulates America on surviving Trump’s first 100 days

Saturday marks Donald Trump’s first 100 days as president of the United States. On Friday’s Late Show, Stephen Colbert took the opportunity to congratulate the American people for making it this far.

“America’s never been better in my opinion,” said Colbert, who has been the number one late-night host during Trump’s presidency. “La La Land and Moonlight won best picture—that’s twice the best picture in one year. And Bill O’Reilly got fired and now has to sexually harass people freelance.”

“The point is, a lot has been done in the first 100 days of Trump’s presidency, just none of it by him.”

The Late Show also commemorated the landmark by recapping Trump’s first 99 days in 99 seconds. Watch the clip below to relive Kellyanne Conway’s “alternative facts,” Michael Flynn’s disgrace, Obama’s alleged wiretapping, and 96 other things that seemed crazy at the time.
