We are only days away from Trump’s 100 day mark, and his administration has been trying hard to push something through before the landmark. On Wednesday’s Late Night, Stephen Colbert mocked the president’s attempt to revive his Obamacare replacement.
“It’s just so exhausting watching this man try to accomplish something,” Colbert said of Trump’s attempts to make progress in his first three months in office. “When I look at his presidency, I think, ‘My five-year-old could do that.'”
“He promised to repeal and replace Obamacare,” Colbert explained. “He pulled his bill without a vote, and now he changed his mind and revived it as something people have been calling ‘Zombie Trumpcare.'”
“Unlike Obamacare, under the new plan, individual states would be allowed to not cover pre-existing conditions,” Colbert said. “That’s why New Hampshire is changing their license plate from ‘Live Free or Die’ to ‘Live Here and Die.’”
