Alec Baldwin did double duty on this weekend’s Saturday Night Live performing as both Donald Trump and Bill O’Reilly in a side-by-side comparison as the latter discussed recent news about his sexual assault allegations.
“Hello, I’m Bill O’Reilly, and I hope you are having a terrific evening,” Baldwin’s O’Reilly said at the top of the sketch. “The subject of tonight’s Talking Points Memo is a scandal everyone’s talking about all week. A scandal no one thought I would have the guts to address head on.” He then paused to let you think he would talk about his assault charges, but instead talked about “The shocking allegations of the abuse of power that have been leveled against the Obama administration.”
Once O’Reilly did get around to discussing his sexual assault accusations, he brought on president Trump to defend him. “I actually see a lot of myself in you, Bill,” said Baldwin’s Trump to Baldwin’s O’Reilly. “I’m more familiar with this case than, say, health care, but I didn’t really look into it much, no. I was busy being super presidential by bombing a bunch of shit.”
O’Reilly then thanked Trump for establishing April as Sexual Assault Awareness Month. “That’s right, Bill. It’s a subject near and dear to my hands.” Watch the clip for more.
