The news cycle is turning over so fast, by the time Trevor Noah hosts his Daily Show every weeknight, the news of the morning has been passed over for a new story. So on Tuesday’s show, Noah ran through a slew of recent stories pretty quickly, because “Ain’t nobody got time for that!”
Noah started by discussing the White House’s decision to ban laptops from certain Muslim-majority and then touched on Neil Gorsuch’s confirmation hearing, but had to quickly move on to another story and another.
The Blaze suspended conservative firecracker Tomi Lahren for saying she was pro-choice. “I was offended,” said Noah of the hypocrisy from a network apparently devoted to fighting for free speech. “I was so offended, I wanted to protest. Unfortunately, there’s no type of black people protest Tomi is comfortable with, so I guess we should just move on.”
Moving on, Trevor commented on news Ivanka Trump would get an office in the White House and top-level security clearance. “So, it’s official, people: The White House has lower standards of who they’ll bring in than Nordstrom.” Watch the clip for more on the latest news.
