On Tuesday’s Late Show, Stephen Colbert mocked the Trump administration’s list of terrorist attacks the media has ignored. The list included such little-talked about attacks as the shootings in San Bernardino, Orlando, and Paris.
“I can’t believe the one they left off. I’m talking about the Bowling Green massacre,” Colbert joked about Kellyanne Conway’s made-up terrorist attack. “Erased from the official list even before it had a chance to happen.”
On Monday night, Colbert revealed himself to be a Bowling Green Massacre truther, declaring the non-attack to have not been an inside job, but lamenting, “I think we all remember where we weren’t were when we didn’t hear that nothing had happened.”
Colbert also dragged Betsy DeVos on Tuesday just hours after the Senate confirmed her as the new Secretary of Education. How did she get nominated? It might be because her family donated $200 million to Republican causes.
“Oh, that reminds me of a math problem!” said Stephen. “Betsy has $200 million. She needs 50 votes. How much money can she give to each senator to make sure public schools get less?”
