Trump calls Obama for advice on his third week in office

On Monday’s Conan, Conan O’Brien showed a clip of Donald Trump calling Barack Obama to discuss his second week in office and upcoming Valentine’s Day. The audio from the fake conversation reveals Trump asking the former president’s advice on a number of issues.

“Hey Barack, I gotta say, I don’t know how you put up with all the criticism. The press has been tearing me apart. They’re twisting my words and making it sound like an anti-terrorism bill is anti-Muslim,” Trump exclaims. “Donald, given the countries you signed out it very much looks like you’re targeting Muslims,” Obama responds. “That’s ridiculous,” explains Trump. “If that was the case, I’d put whatever country you’re from on the list!”

Obama then goes on to chide Trump for criticizing his presidency. “Kind of odd you didn’t approve of presidents issuing executive orders back when I was doin’ it,” Obama says. “That’s cause I didn’t know how much fun it was. I just signed one making all Asian people Japanese.”
