Alec Baldwin returned to Saturday Night Live this week to mock Donald Trump for the first time since he became president. The sketch, which features a skeletal ghoul as Steve Bannon, revolved around Trump’s recent attacks on world leaders, including his arguments with Mexican President Peña Nieto and Australian Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull.
On the phone with Turnbull, Trump talks about the immigration, which he says everybody loves. “We had to do it because of that huge massacre at Bowling Green,” Baldwin’s Trump says, referring to Kellyanne Conway’s made-up attack. When Turnbull reminds him that Obama agreed to take in Australian immigrants, Trump stops the conversation. “No, no refugees. America first, Australia sucks, your reef is failing, prepare to go to war.”
Bannon then urges Trump to call Mexico, so he tries to trick the President Peña Nieto. “Guy who’s going to pay for the wall says ‘What?’” which doesn’t work on Nieto, who responds, “¿Qué?”
Trump then makes the wrong move by calling Zimbabwe leader Mugabe. “You think you are a real dictator?” Mugabe asks. “I will rip out your spine and drink from your skull! You cannot even walk down stairs, you little white bitch! Don’t you ever call Zimbabwe again!”
Watch the clip below and tune in next week as Baldwin hosts SNL for the 17th time.
