Trevor Noah called out President Trump on Wednesday’s Daily Show for signing the immigration ban then firing acting Attorney General Sally Yates for not defending it. When Senate Democrats held a rally to oppose the ban, their mic went out and Trump mocked them on Twitter for it.
“The Donald is the last person who should be calling anyone’s situation a mess, considering every singe day of his administration has been a clusterf—k!” Noah declared, before listing the evidence. “Inauguration lies, popular vote conspiracies, cardboard cake, forgetting to mention the Jews on holocaust remembrance day, and then this weekend the disastrous implementation of his immigration and refugee ban.”
Noah went on to ridicule Trump’s implementation of the order. “What kind of business would launch a new product without telling the rest of the company about it, without checking it with the lawyers?” Noah said. “Or, most importantly, worrying about how it would affect their brand? What kind of company would do that?”
