Tim Heidecker wrote a song about punching ethnic cleansing advocate Richard Spencer

"You can't wish anyone dead / Even if their baseball cap is red / But if you see Richard Spencer / Why don't you punch him in the head."

On Inauguration Day, infamous white nationalist and alt-right leader and advocate for “peaceful ethnic cleansing,” Richard Spencer, got punched in the face while doing an interview. Spencer was in the middle of telling an Australian news outlet that he wasn’t a neo-Nazi when a member of the black bloc clocked him in the head. The internet went nuts over it, turning the video into a meme, but also debating the morality of punching a Nazi.

Tim Heidecker, of Adult Swim’s Tim & Eric’s Awesome Show Great Job, took it upon himself to write a new song about the encounter. Listen to the song below to hear such lyrics as, “You can’t wish anyone dead / Even if their baseball cap is red / But if you see Richard Spencer / Why don’t you punch him in the head.” You can also buy the song for $2. All proceeds go to NAACP.
