SNL’s Weekend Update recaps Trump’s inauguration, Women’s March, Obama’s farewell

Weekend Update’s Michael Che and Colin Jost recapped last week’s news on Saturday Night Live. They started out by remarking on the event of the week. “Well, on Friday half of America had to go out and buy a new TV,” Che said, referring to all the people who angrily watched Trump’s televised inauguration.

“Many have noted that the crowd at the inauguration was smaller than usual, but you can’t expect people to stand outside in the cold rain knowing they’re about to lose their healthcare.” Jost noted that the Inaugural Concert in from of the Lincoln Memorial featured Toby Keith and Three Doors Down. “It was the second worst live performance Lincoln had ever attended,” Colin joked. Watch the clip to see them discuss the Women’s March, Sean Spicer, and Richard Spencer.
