For the second episode in a row, Donald Trump has found the time to watch the cold open of Saturday Night Live, or at least tweet about how “totally biased” it was. The sketch criticized Trump’s tendency to retweet unqualified supporters, like a 16-year-old who defended the president-elect against journalists. The sketch opens on that teenager sitting in class when his phone goes off. “Seth, I thought I told you to turn off your phone,” the teacher says. Seth tells her someone retweeted him. “Seth, you’re just some random kid in high school. Who would retweet you?” Cut to: Trump Tower.
In Trump Tower, Kellyanne Conway tries to get Trump to focus on a briefing about Syria, but he continues to retweet random people. The real Donald Trump responded to the show just like he did during the last episode, calling the show “unwatchable! Totally biased, not funny and the Baldwin impersonation just can’t get any worse. Sad.” Yet he keeps watching. Sad.
Just tried watching Saturday Night Live – unwatchable! Totally biased, not funny and the Baldwin impersonation just can’t get any worse. Sad
