Tom Hanks moderates Trump and Clinton in final SNL debate parody

Alec Baldwin returned to Saturday Night Live as Donald Trump this week to face off against Kate McKinnon’s Hillary Clinton in their final debate showdown. The debate parodies have been the highlight of this fresh season of SNL, and the most recent was not different. Except this time, host Tom Hanks was on the stage as moderator Chris Wallace, which made it that much better. “It’s going to be a lot like the third Lord of the Rings movie,” Hanks said. “You don’t want to watch but, hey, you’ve come this far.”

“In the first debate, I set the table. In the second debate, I fired up the grill. Tonight, I feast,” Clinton said, to open up the debate. Then as Trump ranted about “bad hombres” and “nasty women,” Clinton shouted “Bingo!” showing a card of Trump phrases he would surely say during the debate. One of the better moments, though, was when Hanks’ Chris Wallace showing his annoyance with McKinnon’s Clinton for once against recapping her thirty year political career, complete with, yes again, a reference to Osama Bin Laden. Watch the clip to see it all.
