Stephen Colbert went live on the Late Show Wednesday night to react the third, and final, presidential debate between Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton. In the debate, Trump said America would have to wait in suspense to see if he would accept the results of the election if he lost. “Oh, suspense! Democracy’s going to end in a cliffhanger,” Colbert said. “I guess we’re all going to have to wait until Nov. 9 to find out if we still have a country, if Donald Trump is in the mood for a peaceful transfer of power. Or if he’s going to wipe his fat ass with the Constitution.”
Trump later defended himself against sexual assault accusations, saying nobody respects women more than he does. “That’s why I use the Tic Tacs,” Colbert mocked. “It’s out of respect. Nobody wants to be groped and have bad breath, OK?” Watch the clip to see Colbert flaunt his Emmy’s at Trump’s complaint the system is rigged.
