Jordan Klepper discovers the latest conspiracy theories from Trump supporters

"Why do you think Barack Obama wasn't in the Oval Office on 9/11?" "That I don't know. I'd like to get to the bottom of that."

Jordan Klepper’s interviews of Trump supporters have been some of the best bits of late night television during this election year, and he was back again on Tuesday’s The Daily Show discovering a wealth of information from the heartland in the form of brand new conspiracy theories.

“It turns out Trump’s followers sort of predicted Hillary’s health problems before they were revealed,” Klepper said. “I went to a Trump rally to find out what they know that the rest of us don’t.”

“It could be AIDS,” said one Trump supporter about Clinton. “What makes you think she has AIDS?” Klepper pushed. “They way her husband used to be,” the supporter replied, implying that former President Clinton had been “messing around with that Magic Johnson.”

The Trump supporters of course had some thoughts on the current president, too. “He acts like a Muslim. He talks like a Muslim. He also does the Muslim principles as far as jewelry is concerned,” one man said, suggesting Obama doesn’t always wear his wedding ring for religious reasons.

“Why do you think Barack Obama wasn’t in the Oval Office on 9/11?” Klepper asked one man. “That I don’t know. I’d like to get to the bottom of that,” was his response.

“Um, just Facebook or Twitter. I mean, everything,” one woman said. “So you’ll look at facts and bullshit and you’ll put it all together?” Klepper replied. “Exactly.”
