Seth Meyers bans Trump from his show following recent comments on Muslims

Seth Meyers took “A Closer Look” on Tuesday’s Late Night at Donald Trump’s response to the Orlando massacre. Trump gave a speech on terrorism Monday, “in which he continued his Cal Ripken-esque streak of making inflammatory statements without any evidence whatsoever,” Meyers said.

“I gotta say, when it comes to bigotry, Trump keeps upping his game. He’s like if Joseph McCarthy was exposed to gamma radiation and became a racist, orange Hulk, but with tiny hands.” But as Seth pointed out, “Even for Trump, Monday was a new low.”

During his speech, Trump essentially suggested that Obama was a terrorist sympathizer, and when The Washington Post reported on the speech as such, Trump revoked their press access.

Standing in solidarity with the spurned news outlet, Seth announced that Donald Trump was officially banned from appearing on Late Night. “You missed out, buddy. We could have gone to Coney Island and ridden the Cyclone in a segment we would have called ‘Will His Hair Move?'”

Getting back to the speech, Seth showed clips of Trump implying once again that all Muslims want to come to America to cause harm, and even going so far as to say that the Muslims in America are harboring terrorists. “Trump is stoking fear and spreading hate, and this is important. We can’t become immune to it. We cannot allow it to become normalized.”
