Seth Meyers usually takes a “Closer Look” at a current issue, but on Tuesday’s Late Night he took a “Keener Glance” as he discussed the upcoming UK vote on whether to leave the European Union.

Referred to as the Brexit, Britain’s exit from the EU “would be a huge deal,” Seth says in the clip above. “This decision could have massive ripple effects for the global economy and diplomacy for years to come—which makes it the second-most-important vote British people will cast this year.” The first was the vote to name a research ship, which the internet decided should be named Boaty McBoatface.

“When you put things to a public vote, crazy shit happens. That’s true with the British Boaty McBoatface or the American Orangey McOrangeface,” so Prime Minister David Cameron is wary of putting the Brexit to a popular vote.

After making more fun of Donald Trump and a few jokes about “wazzocks,” Seth goes on to explain that a Brexit vote could mean the end of the EU. “It’s a much bigger deal for the UK to leave than for a country like Greece leaving. Look at it this way: When Zayn left, One Direction was okay, but if Harry leaves, that’s it, it’s over.”
