‘SNL’ dragged Hillary Clinton in their latest commercial parody as Kate McKinnon’s Clinton transformed into Bernie Sanders to pander to his supporters. The ad parody begins Hillary shaking hands with young people and appealing to Millennials, who will decide this election “because there are so many of you—so, so many.” But as the ad progresses we realize that Hillary is developing a strange way of speaking to these young people.
“I, Hillary Clinton, share all of your exact same beliefs, and I always have. Since the beginning of my campaign, I have constantly said, ‘We need a revolution in the streets,'” she says, raising her hands, and changing her voice to that of a familiar senator from Brooklyn. “And I’ve always said that, ever since I was a young boy growing up in Brooklyn.”
It’s not long before Hillary starts to go full Bernie, with the glasses, huge suit, and even the hair, giving Larry David a run for his money with her impression as she asserts “that famous mobilizing sentence that works on you guys that I’ve been saying this whole time.” Hillary also has a new slogan that is entirely original: “Feel the Bern for her.”
Larry David also returned as Bernie on this week’s episode. Watch the clip here.
