Larry David may be the reigning king of Bernie Sanders impressions, well, because he basically is Bernie Sanders, but Jimmy Fallon is now a very close second after he parodied Sanders’ speech from New Hampshire on Wednesday’s Tonight Show. He says he has reached out to Republicans, and “even asked Marco Rubio to help me with my speech tonight, but he just handed my a piece of paper with ‘Good evening’ written on it 800 times.” So, he has to speak for himself, and the results are hilarious.
He speaks out to the good people of New Hampshire from places like Dixville Notch. “New Hampshirites showed the world you are good decent people, even though you live in towns that sound like 18th century porn stars.” He thanks all of them for their support. “You have spoken, and your message is loud and clear. You want the candidate who looks like a Scooby Doo villain before his mask is removed.” And how does he feel after this win? “Like a million bucks…which of course means that I will now evenly distribute myself among the middle class.”
