Adam Driver hosted the first Saturday Night Live of 2016 this weekend, and of course the star of Star Wars: The Force Awakens had to do a Kylo Ren sketch. In this parody of Undercover Boss, Kylo Ren goes undercover on the Starkiller Base in order to get a feel for how his employees get along in the lower levels of the destructive planet. Ren goes undercover as “Matt,” a radar technician who struggles to conceal his anger when people question the plans of Kylo Ren. In the cafeteria, he sits with a couple employees and asks, “What do you guys think of Kylo Ren? Do you guys believe when he says that he’s gonna finish what Darth Vader started?” to which a First Order Storm Trooper responds, “What exactly has he started?” A little later, “Matt” approaches this Trooper with Kylo Ren’s lightsaber, but the Trooper insults him instead, saying the laser sword is “poorly made, like a little kid made it.” Like any episode of Undercover Boss, in the end, “Matt” has to learn to respect his employees and the work they do. But Kylo Ren is no normal boss of a normal company. Watch the clip to see what how he deals with insubordination.
